Serial Experiments Lain Scans: Initial Few Published

As of a few days ago, I’ve finally begun uploading some of my Serial Experiments Lain scans. Over the next few months, I plan on slowly going through my whole collection and scanning anything and everything, so it can all be preserved on the Internet Archive.

I began with uploading the art from the USA Navi DVD release, PIDA-2231V. Next was the Japanese Serial Experiments Lain Resurrection box set, PIBA-1169.

I started a page on my blog all about the archival scans, which you can find here. I also am working to upload them all to the internet archive! The first two are listed below:

Side Note: Unfortunately, the Resurrection box set includes some absolutely massive inserts that fold out to the size of a map! These were far too large for my scanner, an EPSON Perfection v700. I tried scanning lif. 01’s insert in chunks, but it was a bit too cumbersome – so I decided to skip it on the other DVDs. I may try photographing and adding these in the future.

If you have any scans or photos you’d like to contribute, please feel free to reach out! I love seeing everyone’s collections, merchandise, and any other relics of Lain and the Lain fandom.

Thanks for reading, and stay wired!
